Nikki trained for ten years as an artistic gymnast in Washington State, USA, and has since trained in hand-balancing and hand-to-hand at the National Centre for Circus Arts. Nikki has worked collaboratively with JD Broussé for over seven years, using acrobatics, dance and text to develop a unique style of movement-based story telling.

More recently, she directed and performed a short film, Out the Window, during the UK’s first lockdown and she has embarked on the creation of a new solo show, Unbroken, which will premiere in late 2021. Nikki has also collaborated with Scottish circus director Ellie Dubois as a performer in Ellie’s latest all-female circus research.

In addition to circus, Nikki trained the Afro-Brazilian movement art, Capoeira, for ten years under the London schools of Raizes de Rua and Cordao de Ouro.
